The Wool Garden was started because I love wool applique and wanted to "share the wool" with others.  When I learned how to dye, I quickly realized that to do it right I had to make a substantial investment.  The Wool Garden is a direct result of that investment. 

Many of you know that I had spent a substantial amount of time helping care for my ailing mom over the last two years.  Between Mom, my family and house, and working towards my PhD, it didn't leave much time for The Wool Garden.   Thankfully, my friend, Debbie and my daughter Christine worked extra hours to keep the business running smoothly.  George and Andrew (my son and husband) were infinitely supportive and did what they could.

In December, my Mom lost her battle with Cancer and she has since moved on to a better place.  We miss her and are still recovering but are looking forward to a fresh start in the new year. 

Many thanks to those whose patience helped us through.  When you call the office, you may get Debbie, Christine, Nate or me.  Occasionally, Andrew is there.  The studio is still open by appointment though we are participating in more shows this year and may not be around quite as much.
